Guadalajara Hotels

Guadalajara is the capital city of the central state of Jalisco in Mexico. It is also the second largest city in the country. It is considered a colonial city, though much of its architecture dates from the independence period. Look for accommodation in Guadalajara, or try finding hotels in Tlaquepaque, 7 km to the south, or Zapopan, 7 km to the northeast.

Guadalajara Travel Tips

be sure to visit Tlaquepaque nearby Polly K.
Guadalajara, that´s the best place to go in Mexico. ALL the 'mexican' traditions (tequila, mariachi, etc) were originated in the state where Guadalajara is the capital. Big, modern city, it has A LOT of alternatives, and Mexico's prettiest girls!!!!!! Julio R.
I love this town; I only spent a few days there in 2002 visiting a friend who was working for the UN, but was charmed by the look and feel of the place, and it's proximity to great hang gliding and para gliding. I would love to go back again someday for a few days if ever traveling through Mexico. … Toryalai H.
