gifu is my home town.there is a lot of mountains so north of gifu usually in winter many people come to ski:) there is a lot of rice field ,too. Yuka A.
Definitely do the hike to Gifu Castle instead of taking the easy way up. It's worth the hour and a half hike. Beware of birds that are used to getting fed at the top. Meridith P.
