Geok-tepe is a city in Ahal Province, Turkmenistan. Geok-tepe was the site of the Turkmen's last battle against the Russians. Geok-tepe is situated about 50 km west of Ashgabat, about halfway between Ashgabat and Bakharden. Look for accommodation in Ashgabat, 43 km to the southeast.
