Fullerton is an inland city in Orange County in Southern California. Fullerton was founded in 1887 as a railroad town on the Santa Fe route. The town quickly changed to an agricultural community before oil was discovered in the area in the early 1900s. Fullerton Travel Tips
Downtown Fullerton is very nice. There is a Japanese restaurant that has all-you-can eat sushi every Thursday night start at 7PM or 730PM but you have to get there early because it ends at 11PM and they don't take reservations. There is also an Old Spaghetti Factory nearby as well as a Wahoo's Fish … Krystal L.

The Marriott near Cal State Fullerton is the best hotel in the immediate vicinity (unless you go down towards Costa Mesa).
