Jardines Arenal B B is a great family run place about a five min drive outside of town. Not very expensive and has great gallo pinto included for breakfast. The owners are truly the treasure, not even the view of Arenal can top that.

Go visit the restaurant La Cascada. The food is really good and they have a fun karaoke night there. Just make sure you have a ride home. Cabs are hard to come by out there.
