Fairbanks Hotels

Fairbanks is a town in Interior Alaska, 1488 miles from the start of the Alaska Highway in Dawson Creek, BC. It is the second-largest city in Alaska and, being a junction of several major highways, will be a likely stop of most visitors to the state. When staying in Fairbanks, we recommend All Seasons Bed and Breakfast Inn, SpringHill Suites Fairbanks, Minnie Street Bed and Breakfast, Fairbanks Downtown Bed and Breakfast, and Westmark Fairbanks Hotel and Conference Center.

Fairbanks Travel Tips

Best to travel between may and july Radek B.
Well, it seems that you either really like Fairbanks, or hate it. I happen to like it, even in the winter. During a cold winter day, a great (civilized) thing to do is head out to Chena Hot Springs, and have a soak. There's nothing like being all toasty warm, while ice is busy forming in your hair. … Celso R.
Fairbanks is very cold in the winter and can get up to 90 degrees in the summer. Bring layers as you will need them and don't forget shorts during late June, July, and early August. Lisa W.
