El Jem Hotels

El Jem is a small town in the east of Tunisia that holds the remains of a UNESCO World Heritage listed Roman amphitheater. El Jem was formerly the Roman town of Thysdrus, one of the most important towns in North Africa after Carthage.

I've seen quite a few spectacular Roman sites, but this one probably tops the lot. The Colosseum is really impressive and unlike the one in Rome it still has the floor! Russell S.

Never been to Italy and seen the Coloseum Then go to El Jem and take a look at theirs. It's immense and in quite a good condition! Natascha H.
