East Grinstead is a town in West Sussex, in the South East of England. East Grinstead is an ancient market town that was the capital of the old High Weald, and lies at the meeting point of the four counties of Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey. Look for accommodation in East Grinstead, or try finding hotels in Crawley, 8 miles to the west, Forest Row, Lingfield, 3 miles to the north, or Edenbridge, 5 miles to the northeast.

Not much of a travel trip....just went there for the horse racing, had to do some pics for a project. But if you never heve seen a horse racing and would like to see it at least once...Lingfield is close enough to London and it's quite cheap to get there by train and the racing is not expensive … Valentina F.
