Silverton/Durango Narrow Guage Railroad is a must do!. If you have a group with multiple drivers one set can drive to Silverton and the other ride the train. Then swap and do the ooposite on the way back to save money on the train tickets. If you don't mind a little soot the open Gondala cars are … Becky L.
A beautiful place...the big attraction here is Mesa Verde where you can see excellent exaples of native american cliff dwellings (cave like houses carved into the side of high cliffs).
