Delos Hotels

Delos is an island in Greece's Cyclades, 3.5 km southwest of Mykonos. Delos, sometimes spelled Dilos, was the most important Panhellenic sanctuary, and, according to mythology, the birth place of Apollo and Artemis. Look for accommodation in Mykonos, 11 km to the north, or try finding hotels in Agios Ioannis, 5 km to the northeast, Ornos, 6 km to the northeast, Platys Gialos, 7 km to the east, or Mykonos Town, 9 km to the northeast.

Delos Travel Tips

the tiny island of Simi not far from Delos was a highlight of greece. quaint, beautiful, no tourists. Sarah B.
if you are going in June-September make sure to wear a hat and bring sunscreen lotion because the temperature will be high and there is nothing to cast a shade on that island, no trees, no buildings, all you get in Delos is archaeological ruins. Bring a bottle of water as well. Mary K.
Bring plenty of water--it's very hot and there really is nothing on the island but beautiful ruins. Take the time to climb to the top, but wear comfortable shoes. Kevin S.
