Ciudad Acuña is a city in Coahuila, Mexico. Old Mexico hands consider this to be one of the more pleasant and easier border crossing points along the entire Rio Grande. Has a couple really pleasant Tex-Mex restaurants. When staying in Ciudad Acuña, we recommend Whispering Palms Inn (8 km northwest), BEST WESTERN Inn of Del Rio (8 km northwest), La Quinta Inn Del Rio (8 km northwest), Ramada Inn Del Rio (8 km northwest), and Motel 6 Del Rio (8 km northwest).

watch your belongings. border towns are like this. the locals are also into witch craft and voo-doo stuff. alot of the area is run down. but you can find some cheap stuff at the stores. Amanda R.
