Chersonissos is a city in Crete. The best way to get here is by bus from heraklion and most people arrive via plane. However occasioanly ferrie's dock at the harbour visit the main strip in summer time. Look for accommodation in Heraklion, 12 km to the southwest, or try finding hotels in Gazi, 6 km to the north, Gouves, 7 km to the east, or Amoudara, 8 km to the north.
