Casablanca Hotels

Casablanca may be the cosmopolitan, industrial and economic heart of Morocco, but it is one of the less endearing of the country's sights. With a small, unassuming medina and a traffic-congested ville nouvelle, travellers arriving via Casablanca may be tempted to find the first train out to nearby Rabat. When staying in Casablanca, we recommend Le Royal Mansour Meridien, Moroccan House Hotel Casablanca, Maamoura Hotel Casablanca, Hotel Diwan Casablanca, and Hotel Amoud Casablanca.

Casablanca Travel Tips

If you are a woman, you may find it difficult to cope with not being able to find a cup of coffee easily in the streets of Casablanca as the cafes are so dominated by men! Bernadette C.
Just stay away from this city. Everything about it is horrible. From people who chase you you in the street for being Israeli (which I'm not, NZer) to having taxi drivers throw your bags out of a taxi for asking if the can use the meter. There's only one hostel and its terrible. The rest of this … James M.
It doesn't really live up to all those images created by Bogart, I never found a 'Rick's cafe' substitute. However, there are a few nice places to eat and the main Mosque, with its 200m high minaret is extremely impressive. Russell S.
