Caracas Travel Tips

An absolute must, this city is facinating. You must try one of the local cafe's and try a veg/fruit smoothie, very bizaare! Great architecture too. But do exactly what you tour guide tells you and never leave his sight! Wendy B.
Not nearly as scary as people made out, but we did stick with the safety do's and don't's in our guidebook so maybe that is why. We found it had an excellent public transportation system. Emma D.
Caracas has delicious Caribbean cuisine in downtown Caracas. The weather is just fabulous and people are very friendly. Get versed in Venezuelan politcs, history and culture prior to traveling there so you can understand and engage in interesting conversation. Angelica R.
