Some 35,835 acres or 56 mi² in extent, the designated area around the spectacular Bryce Canyon became a United States National Monument in 1923 and was designated as a National Park in 1928. Make sure to bring your camera and lots of extra memory. Bryce Canyon is so amazing. You should go on hikes there, but bring LOTS of water.
