Can't really tell you much about Beverwijk. It's where our school used to go swimming because we didn't have our own pool. You had to be able to tread water for 45 minutes with all your clothes own to make sure you could survive in a flood.

that´s a real good tip! beverwijk is a small town, about 20 minutes out from amsterdam. there is european biggest bazar in big malls. It´s like an outlet-center where you can make real good deals. If you have some time - and also like to make an shopping-holiday ... it´s an must.see :)
