Bago is the capital city of Bago Division in the Irrawaddy region of Myanmar. From Yangon, leave in the morning by taxi, or by bus, or by train. A taxi is the best because you'll need one to see the sights in Bago and you can stop at Taukkyan on the way.

Bago Travel Tips

Don't stay at the Sanfran Hotel!!! The rooms are horrible and the people are all but useless. Spend the extra 5 bucks and get a nice place to rest your head! (However there is a great bar accross from San Fran which you should check out! Bryan L.
