Astoria is a city on the Northern Oregon Coast. It is a small rainy town on the edge of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean. Possibly most famous for being the terminus for the Lewis and Clark Expedition, or the setting of Goonies, you can choose. When staying in Astoria, we recommend Rose River Inn, Hotel Elliott, Comfort Suites Columbia River, Holiday Inn Express and Suites Astoria (1 mile east), and Columbia Inn.

Really pretty coastal town - and you have to cross a really crazy bridge to get there. It will look really familiar because Goonies was filmed there. =) Kimberly A.
When I used to work for Alaskan Sightseeing Cruise West marine yahts... this was a nice pit stop for us to get some ground time... I know my mates love the bars... I preferred the shore line :) Zanjan F.
