Aflao Hotels
Aflao is the coastal town in Ghana bordering Togo. While east of the Togolese side of the border the city is the capital, Lome, the so-called 'Paris of West Africa', the Ghanaian town is a typical African border town built solely to service the movement of people and goods. When staying in Aflao, we recommend Ibis Lome Centre (2 km east), and Mercure Lome Sarakawa (8 km east).

While crossing the Ghana/Lome border at Aflou is fairly straightforward (not too many hassles etc) beware the people who hang around borders waiting for tourists.
